Four Countries I Look Forward To Visiting In 2020

Let’s talk about travel plans! As some of you may already know, one of my New Year Travel Resolutions is to visit three new countries!
I would like 2020 to be a year full of travel, adventure, and exploration! So I plan to visit these four countries:

Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹

Which should come as no surprise! Trinidad is my Mother’s Land, as well as the beautiful island I consider home! For those of you that may not know, my first trip to Trinidad back in 2018 is what led me to this path of becoming a world traveler.
Trinidad is a beautiful island full of flavor and spice, and an absolute must-visit destination.
This year, I plan to visit both Trinidad and Tobago during a 5-week exploration of the island.

Jamaica 🇯🇲

Jamaica, the heartbeat of the world, where do I start with you?
Jamaica is my Father’s land. So visiting this island is a personal trip for me. It’ll be my homecoming. I’ve been wanting and planning to visit Jamaica for years, and the plans always fell through somehow. But not this time, not this year. This year, I will see and feel the place that gave birth to the other half of me!

Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
Haiti 🇭🇹

One island divided into two countries split by a mountain range. I have to admit, The Dominican Republic and Haiti are two countries that were far from the top of my 2020 travel list. But a recent invitation to Haiti made me rearranged everything!

*Disclaimer- 2020 is an election year in many places around the world. And during this time, there may be a lot of political unrest happening in other countries. And although I look forward to visiting these countries, I will reconsider travel depending on what the travel.gov website says.

What countries do you look forward to visiting this year?

  1. All of these countries sound incredible. I am so jealous I would love to visit them all one day. Is there one you are more excited to visit than the others?

      1. I don’t have any holiday plans this year abroad at least, hoping to visit Cardiff and London though so they should be good
