Thereโs something about the first trip to an apple orchard that makes fall officially feel like fall.
For me, that place is Hilltop Orchards.
This year marks my third year visiting Hilltop Orchards, and returning has become one of those little traditions that I look forward to every fall. After spending so much time chasing events, traveling, and exploring the city, thereโs something refreshing about slowing down, getting outside, and welcoming the new season.
And of course, I canโt talk about Hilltop Orchards without talking about my absolute favorite: the apple cider doughnuts.
I live for these doughnuts!
Theyโre warm, sweet, full of that cozy apple-cider flavor, and honestly one of the highlights of my visit every single year. If Iโm at an apple orchard in the fall, apple cider doughnuts are non-negotiable, and Hilltopโs are one of the reasons I keep coming back.
Then there are the apples themselves.
The apples at Hilltop Orchards are so crisp, sweet, and delicious. Thereโs just something so special about picking a freshly grown apple, taking it home, and taking that first bite. It tastes like fall in the simplest, most perfect way.
But beyond the food, I love the experience of being at the orchard. The crisp air, the trees, the changing season, and that feeling that youโre stepping away from your everyday routine for a little while. Itโs the kind of place where you can actually slow down and enjoy the moment.
And what better way to kick off the fall festivities?
This visit officially marks the beginning of my cozy season, which means Iโm leaning into everything I love about this time of year: fall outings, seasonal activities, good food, cozy moments, and exploring new places.
So, if youโre looking for a way to welcome fall, an apple orchard is a pretty perfect place to start.
For me, thereโs no better way to say hello, fall than with a crisp apple in one hand, a box of apple cider doughnut in the other, and a beautiful orchard all around me.
Hereโs to another fall season! ๐๐
