In 2021, I was introduced to the “12 Trips In 12 Months Challenge,” which is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a challenge to take one domestic or international trip per month.
And at the end of 2021, I decided to attempt this challenge. So I kickstarted the challenge in November with a trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and continued it with Atlantic City, New Jersey, in December. But then had to stop because of the emergence of Omicron — a new variant of Covid. Which quickly halted all of my immediate and future travel plans. But now, with easing travel restrictions, and two new countries under my belt, I’m much more optimistic about the future. So much so that I have decided to reattempt this challenge in 2023!
I have no idea where I will go, but I do know this will be an exciting journey! I plan to update this post with a list of destinations for each month and create travel guides for each destination.
This has to be one of the most scariest and exciting things I’ve ever decided to do. And I believe that by taking on this challenge, I will learn how to be more flexible and open to new opportunities in my everyday life! So I can’t wait to see how it goes and take you along with me.
See you back here in 4 months time!
