My 2022 New Year Travel Plans + Resolutions Eight Month Check In!

I would like to start this 2022 New Year Travel Plans + Resolutions check-in by saying I completely forgot that I made travel plans and resolutions for this year! And with that being said, let’s jump right in and talk about the progress I’ve made these past eight months.

Here are the goals and resolutions that I set for myself this year:

Goals For 2022:

  1. Visit 3 New Countries 
  2. Visit 3 New States
  3. Visit 2 New Territories
  4. Check 10 Items off of my Bucket List
  5. Explore more of Brooklyn
  6. Explore more of New York City 

2022 Travel Resolutions:

  1. Be More Adventurous 
  2. Be Open To New Experiences
  3. Be More Environmentally Conscious When Traveling 
  4. Reduce My Travel Waste And Footprint
  5. Become A Better Minimalist Traveler

Now let’s talk progress. So far I’ve:

Goals Completed For 2022:

  1. Visited 2 out of 3 New Countries
    Countries Visited: The Dominican Republic & Jamaica
  2. Checked 4 out of 10 Items off of my Bucket List
    Completed Bucket List Activities:
    1. Ride on the back of a Motorcycle
    2. Do a Full Week of Solo Travel (By my standards)
    3. Go Snorkeling 
    4. Bathe In An Outdoor Shower

2022 Travel Resolutions Completed:

  1. Be More Adventurous 
  2. Be More Open To New Experiences

So as you can see, I still have a lot to do before year’s end! But I am hoping for a lot more explorations and adventures this fall when the weather cools down a bit.
And now I must ask, how are your New Year plans and resolutions coming along? I hope they are going better than mine. But if not, this year has four months left, so get out there and make it happen!
