My 2023 New Year Travel Resolutions

I want 2023 to be the year that I look back and say, “I can’t believe I did that!” vs. “I wish I did that!”

Happy New Year! I am very excited to welcome 2023!

2022 was a year full of joy, adventure, and awakening. I took three international trips, two of them to new countries and both solo. I made new friends, experienced new things, said ‘yes’ more, and made my younger self very proud. I blossomed in 2022, and I’m only hope for the same or better in 2023. So to ensure that 2023 yields an equal or greater return on happiness, I’ve pushed and challenged myself by setting some pretty big travel resolutions for this year.

Checking Things Off The List

With a growing bucket list containing 62 activities, I’ve decided to step it up and challenge myself to check off 20 items this year. Here’s what I’d like to check off my Bucket List in 2023:

1. Jet Ski	11. Go to the top of the Eiffel Tower
2. Take a Helicopter ride around NYC	12. Go Horseback Riding
3. Run a 5K	13. Go ATV’ing ✔️ 06/11/2023
4. Skinny Dip	14. Visit Kaieteur Falls
5. Stand under a waterfall	15. Celebrate Dia Los Muertos in Mexico
6. Have Afternoon Tea in London	16. Go Hiking
7. Zipline	17. Swim with sharks
8. Play Mas✔️ 02/21-22/2023	18. Ride on a yacht
9. Visit The Buckingham Palace	19. Do the Polar Bear Plunge at Coney Island ✔️ 01/01/2023
10. Ride the London Eye	20. Watch a Volcano Erupt

Now I have to be honest; these new year’s travel resolutions and bucket list plans scare me, but I was always told, “if your goals don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough!” So I’m going all in!
