Food Review Guide: Ali’s Trinidad Roti Shop

A couple of years ago, I made a YouTube video crowning Ali’s Trinidad Roti Shop, located on Fulton Street, as The Best Roti Shop in Brooklyn. But since then, a lot has changed. The pandemic came in 2020, and in 2021 Ali’s Roti Shop closed for a little over 9-months for renovations. And in those nine months, I had a lot of time to try and retry many other roti shops around Brooklyn. This begs the question, “Is Ali’s Roti Shop still the best roti shop in Brooklyn?” And to put it simply, my answer is, Yes.

Place- Roti Shop
Type- Trinidadian Food
Price- $$
Ratings- 5/5
Dine In Or Take Out- Take Out Only
Location- 1267 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11216
Hours- 11AM – 7PM Monday – Saturday
Closed On Sundays

We went through a global pandemic, which changed how we did things for months. And in 2021, Ali’s underwent an entire renovation. So from the outside, the restaurant looks very different. But the one thing that has remained the same is their food! Ali’s Trinidad Roti Shop is still the best in Brooklyn, serving up the same authentic taste of Trinidad! Ali’s is still the best place for delicious homemade Trinidadian food, from doubles to dinners!

Loved your article. Did Ali’s close? The number is disconnected. Do you have an updated number?
