Many may not know this, but I have a serious love affair with the beach! Ever since I was a small child, I loved the going to the beach and swimming in the ocean. It was, and still is the only place in the world where I feel complete. And after spending numerous hours on numerous beaches, I have come to find that I have favorites!
Now, I have not visited every beach in Brooklyn, NY, but I do feel like I have visited enough to compile this list! So without further ado, let’s get into it!
Manhattan Beach
A private beach open to the public during beach season between 10 AM and 6 PM, and located on Oriental Blvd. between Ocean Ave. and Mackenzie St. Brooklyn

Coney Island Beach
I think this might be an obvious one, Coney Island Beach is one of my favorite places in the world! But it made the line up at number two, because of the crowds this beach often draws in the summer and its uncleanliness.

Brighton Beach
With a short walk down the boardwalk from Coney Island to Brighton Beach, you can have the best of both worlds!

Plumb Beach
Is a hidden gem that I discovered in 2018, and finally got to visit in 2019, and I have to say, it is a must-visit!
