Growing up, I never really had a “dream home.” I danced with the idea of living in an apartment because I grew up in apartments. And I’ve also considered living in a house for the sake of not having neighbors. But I never really knew what I wanted my house or apartment to look like until I stayed in my first luxury rental apartment in Indianapolis, Indiana.

My stay in Indianapolis made me say, “This is what I want my future home to look like!”

Then, I went to Louisville, Kentucky, where I stayed at a second luxury rental (which topped the fabulousness of my first rental in Indianapolis). And I was sold.

So here’s what my dream apartment will look like:

My first apartment will be a luxury condo in a posh downtown neighborhood with all the amenities! It’ll feature a pool and outdoor space like both rentals in Indianapolis and Louisville, as well as a balcony, lounge, game center, gym, and top-of-the-line appliances (as found in my Louisville stay).

I’ll own a two-bedroom apartment with a walk-in closet, living room, full kitchen, office space, and dining area. It’ll be a modern home with a minimalist feel.

Everything will be fancy, state-of-the-art, and magical.

I also plan to own more than one property. My second property will be a house. I don’t have all the details sorted for how my house will look, but as I travel, I hope to find more inspiration!
